- Has anybody been able to get a Maxtech XVM144I modem to work reliably
- under windows 3.1 or 95. When I can get it to work it works great but most
- of the time it refuses to dial or it dials with pulse, therefore getting
- confused because of the call-waiting. Sometimes it even locks up the whole
- computer and I am forced to turn it off and back on. The only thing I can
- think of, is that the modem somtimes does not respond to the command sets.
- This modem is set up as com2 irq3, if anyone has any ideas please let me know,
- also if anyone has maxtech's number please e-mail it to me the one the box is
- disconnected. Any help would be appreciated.
